IZOLA (Slo)
Izola is one of the coastal towns of Slovenia – Croatia's neighbouing country. This lively tourist town has a rich history and fishing tradition. It is situated very close to Umag, Croatia – only 25 km distance and Trieste, Italy – only 30 km. Izola is linked with all the city centers in the region and can be reached by highway (directions from Portoroz), local buses, railway (from Koper) and by air (airport Portoroz and Ljubljana).
Izola is popular tourist spot with Mediterranean climate, nice offer of local dishes, sport and cultural manifestation and many possible excursions in the area. Marina Izola is situated in the centre of town so it is easily reachable. There are 650 berths (sea and dry berths) and amenities for guests any marina should have (parking places, toilettes, laundry, travel lift, crane, slipway). The marina organizes regattas and events for sail-enthusiasts.
