Croatia's largest shipping company Jadrolinija holds most of the lines. Depending on the area you want to travel to, choose one of the largest coastal towns such as Rijeka, Zadar, Sibenik, Split or Dubrovnik as your starting point. These towns have really good connections with nearby islands, especially during summer months. Islands are also very good interconnected with each other so planning a day trip to an island will be rather easy as all you have to do is buy a ticket. Besides by ferry, you can also travel by catamaran. If you are planning to take your own or rented car or motorcycle with you, just embark it on board a ferry.
