The castle Martinis-Marchi is situated near the fishing village of Maslinica on the island of Solta. It is a stunning property that can be reached easily due to its great position. Solta is only 16 km away from Split, where the biggest airport on the Croatian coast is situated. A regular ferry leaves from Split to Solta approximately 6 times per day during the summer season. But this castle has also its own marina and heliport so you can choose which transportation you prefer. Everything is made to provide you the ideal vacation in Croatia.
The villa Martinis-Marchi was originally built by the Martinis brothers in the early 18th century to help protect the Split mainland and islands from pirate attacks and to develop a community on the island. After a big investment of time and money by its new owners and under the watchful guidance of local Croatian heritage architects, the castle has returned his former glory.

The restaurant has great views over the bay. It is the only facility in the castle that is open to public, but it has its own entrance and the guests of the villa, if they prefer complete privacy, can have their meals inside.
There are several suites in the villa and all of them are individually designed and furnished and offer the ultimate elegance and comfort. London, Vienna, Venice, Paris and Zagreb are the cities where some of the beds, wardrobes, tables and chairs were found and then restored to match the castle’s original design.
